Question: How do I add a Friend?

Answer: Once you have identified a user you want to befriend, you can invite them to be a part of your friend list. Visit their profile page and below their name you'll see a link that reads, Add Friend. Depending on the user's privacy settings, they will either immediately be added to your friend list or a mail message will be sent to that user asking them to accept or decline your invitation.

Question: How do I remove myself as group moderator?

Answer: Once you have successfully logged into your account, select the Groups tab along the top of your site. Select the appropriate group, and then select "Step Down as Moderator."

Question: How do I cancel or remove a group I've created?

Answer: Once you have successfully logged into your account, select the Groups tab along the top of your site. Select the appropriate group, and then select "Edit Information.: At the bottom of the screen it will ask you if you'd like to permanently delete this group. Hit Delete.

Question: Can I customize my House of 420 profile?

Answer: You can truly customize your profile because House of 420 profiles support the same css code you get from those pimp your space kind of sites. Importing your css code from a layout generating website is easy:

1) Once logged in, click 'Profile'

2) Click on any of these: 'Layout and Style' or 'Edit Profile' or 'Change Profile Style'

3) Then just scroll to the bottom of the page and put that code in the box that says 'Custom CSS' then click 'Save Changes'.

Question: What is My Hub?

Answer: My Hub provides an all-in-one access point for your social networking. It shows the recent activity on your site, allows you to interact with your users or groups you have joined, displays your calendar and any RSS feeds you have chosen to display and much more.

Question: How do I upload a picture to my page?

Answer: Once you have successfully logged into your account, select the Photos tab along the top of your site. Select the Upload Photo option. Photos you wish to upload from your computer can be selected with the "Browse" button. Once you have finished selecting your photos hit Finished! Upload Now!

Please note the following about your photo uploads:
Max upload size: 2MB

Question: How do I change my default profile picture?

Answer: After you have successfully logged into your account, select the Profile tab along the top of your site. Select the Change Profile Photo menu option. From here you will be able to choose from between any of the photos you have previously uploaded to your galleries, or upload a new photo.

Question: Issues with images

Answer: First, make sure that the image you are attempting to upload is in one of the formats accepted - jpg or gif. Next, make sure the filename is simple and short, with no space or funny characters. "Image.jpg" is an acceptable filename. Next, make sure the file is less than 2MB. We do not allow images over 2MB in size. If none of these tips help, it's possible that the image is corrupted.

Question: Can I edit or move a photo after uploading it to my galleries?

Answer: Images can not be edited or moved between gallery folders once they have been uploaded. If you need to change a photo or move it to a new folder, you will need to download it, make your change, and upload it again.

Question: How do I add color, graphics & video to my Profile page?

Answer: Adding color, graphics and video to your Profile page is easy. Begin by going to the Profile tab found along the top of your page. Then select the Layout and Style menu option. Here you can customize nearly any part of your site's look.

Graphics and videos can be uploaded to either your photo and video galleries or shown directly in a blog post.

Question: Is my House of 420 site free?

Answer: Yes, your personal House of 420 site - which includes blogging, photo and video hosting, groups, calendars and more - is FREE!

Question: How do I create an account?

Answer: When visiting House of 420, a link to our signup page can be found in the top right corner of the screen, the Login box on the left of the screen and in the Join box with the pic of Katie & Kristin in it. If you have trouble finding these links, visit: Signups.

Creating an account is a quick 3 step process. Please provide a valid email address when creating an account because your House of 420 username and password will be emailed to you for your records.

Step 1: You will be asked to provide basic contact and profile information.
Step 2: Complete the sign-up process.
Step 3: Build your site!

Please be sure to complete all the required steps when setting up your House of 420 profile because:

1) You will be visible to visitors when they do a people search on the House of 420.

2) Your profile picture will appear in the new members box on the homepage

So please take your time and complete everything. All steps are required except for creating a blog.

Answer: Once you have successfully logged into your account, select the Profile tab along the top of your site. From here click Edit Profile or  Account depending on what information you want to change.

Question: Can I turn off my ads?

Answer: Ad content can not be removed or turned off on the free personal accounts.

Question: How do I delete my account?

Answer: Please message us via this page or email: info@houseof420.com if you want to delete your account. If whatever issue you're having cannot be resolved, House of 420 Help Desk can delete your account for you or to do it yourself login in, click 'Profile', then click 'Account', scroll down then click 'Delete Profile'.
